Karlsson for Present Time no longer uses Nixie tubes, but instead employs modern LED technology with red illuminated digits. The clock's control electronics are concealed in a luxurious oak wood base. Although the clock does not have an alarm function, the red illuminated digits of the digital display are easy on the eyes, making the Cathode table clock from Present Time a perfect fit for a retro-designed kitchen, bedroom, or living room.
