The bracket can be rotated (right, left or frontal).

The lamp comes with a plug. This can of course be cut, then the wires can be connected directly.

The switch is located below the golden part on the cover, the wires as well. You can attach the lamp to an existing power connection on the wall and switch it on either with a light switch or the small on/off lever on the lamp. I hope I was able to help.
