Hello, this is quite sufficient. If you need it for reading. To illuminate a room of about 20 m2 you might need 2 of them.

Without dimmer it works like a lamp.
With normal light switch on and dimmer you can switch on and off and the light is also dimmable.
You can also program 10 other lamps with the same dimmer.
I use 8 lamps (with 5 dimmers) in this configuration and it works very well.
But it does not work with other smart devices without a Philips Hue Hub.

So the light switch must be set to 'on', otherwise the bulb has no juice. However, it can also be switched off with the Hue remote control. However, the lamp can then still be operated with the normal light switch.

The lamp can be dimmed down to 5%: As the maximum luminous flux is 806 lumens, the minimum luminous flux is approx. 40 lumens.
