Good as a night light
First impression with set-up and operation was great. The channel search function also worked perfectly and the alphabetical list makes it easy to find the channel you want. After the first night, however, I would have preferred to send it back:
- The LCD display illuminates half the bedroom. Even on the lowest setting, it is still relatively bright.
- I haven't heard such a rattling sound for a long time - every mobile has better sound quality these days.
- As the alarm buttons are duplicated with the volume buttons, you can't change the volume when the alarm clock is running, you have to define it when programming the alarm clock and it stays that way... a pity.
In the absence of convincing alternatives (under CHF 100), I kept the alarm clock anyway. At a low volume, the sound is still reasonably tolerable and I have darkened the display with a film. Value for money is fine, hence 3 stars.Pro
