The adapter is attached to a clean surface and filled with adhesive. After 12 hours, the adhesive is dry, allowing the accessory to be screwed on. It can be removed at any time without leaving a trace. With a suitable replacement part set like this, the accessory can be easily reattached in a different location. Caution!
