EPS beads (100% polystyrene) Made in Germany by MAGMA Heimtex. EPS stands for "expandable polystyrene": Through the combination of styrene with the blowing agent pentane, foamable beads are formed in a precisely controlled process. They are 1-2 mm in size and consist of polystyrene, a pure hydrocarbon. They form the EPS granulate, the basis for our EPS beads.
EPS beads are freshly produced in a complex process on the day of filling. For the production of our EPS beads, we use a carefully selected EPS granulate.
