Can I also use this product to control an IKEA smart lamp, for example? Because Ikea is Hue bridge compatible but I can't find anywhere whether it is also compatible with this module.

Indirectly yes. Both the switch and the Ikea lamp can be linked to the Hue Brigde and connected in a corresponding app as a switch that controls this lamp.
You only need this switch so that you can control lamps with existing light switches; they may only be installed by an electrician.

Our electrician informed me that this wall switch contains a battery. This wall switch can only be switched on and off via a corresponding app.

I recommend asking IKEA whether the associated lamp is compatible...
