Can I screw these directly to the wall?

Yes, the two black extremities have a detachable flat part that conceal screw holes. These can be screwed on the wall or ceiling, and then reattached to the bar. The power lead can exit cleanly on either side and in either of the 3 possible orientations of each side (any 90° except towards the LED tube). The LED tube can rotate to orient the light in any direction.

Note you'll need the low-voltage power cord to plug into a wall wart adapter.
If you need a clean installation without a wall wart adapter, you can find a similar tube design that attaches to a ceiling or wall rail system (Hue Perifo) with a separate power brick.
