Can the lounge be set up with left orientation and right orientation? Or is it only possible on the left? I would have to have the shorter side on the right.

The two parts can be set up independently of each other. Therefore, YES, a right-hand alignment is possible. However, one must note the following: If you place the smaller part on the right side, the adjustable "couch" will lie flush with the large part. (Picture 3 shows the adjustable parts)
