When the moon is floating, it starts to rotate automatically. The rotation cannot be interrupted (unless the lamp is unplugged, i.e. the power supply is interrupted, in which case the moon stops rotating). In other words, the following modes are available:
- totally switched off, moon does not float
- switched on, moon floats and rotates, moon does not light up
- switched on, moon floats and rotates, moon lights up in one of the three colours.
