Question about WiZ White
Hello Community I'm currently having problems putting on the lamp. Do I need the "Google Home" app so that I can set up 1 (one) lamp? I somehow can't connect the lamp to the WLAN. I have 2.4 GHz on. There are also devices connected to this network (e.g. 1 laptop). I have a Fairphone 3 and unfortunately I can't get any further. Can anyone help me? 🙏😬 Thank you very much!

Hi, no, you don't necessarily need Google Home, but you do need the WIZ app. Should be very simple in principle:
1. install the WIZ app
2. connect the lamp and switch it on
3. search for new devices in the app (should find the lamp regardless of your WLAN - first a network connection is only created between the phone and the lamp).
4. only during the setup process will the lamp be integrated into your own WLAN.
From then on, you can control the light via the app.
Google Home is recommended, then it works via voice control and you don't need your mobile every time.
