Hello, does this LED tube require a starter unit to be attached and installed together? Like in this OSRAM one: https://www.galaxus.ch/en/s14/product/osram-led-tube-g13-10-w-1080-lm-1-x-f-bulbs-25281559 If yes - does the total length of the tube (90.8 cm indicated in the specification) concerns only the tube or tube+starter? Thank you very much!

You will need an LED starter for this LED tube if the fluorescent lamp in your current luminaire also has a starter. This is the case if you have a conventional ballast (EM). The LED starter supplied replaces the current starter and ensures that the LED tube works. This 9.7 W LED tube with G13 base replaces a conventional 30 W fluorescent tube with a total length of 908 mm. The length with base, but without base pin, is 900 mm.
