If the lamps support Bluetooth, you do not need a bridge. You can then control the lamps via Bluetooth and with the free Philips Hue app (dimming, colour change). However, as I can't see explicitly on the lamps whether they support Bluetooth, I would recommend clarifying this. In general, I would also like to mention that the variant via the bridge makes sense if you have different Philips Hue lamps in different rooms that you want to illuminate with a special play of light. For individual lamps without complex lighting, the connection via Bluetooth makes sense. Hope that helps.

The Hues all work either via Zigbee with the Hue Bridge or via Bluetooth (there is an app for this or it is integrated into the Philips Hue app).

Alternatively, it should still run via Bluetooth.

You need a Hue Bridge anyway; nothing else. I don't think the lamps can be controlled directly from the app (i.e. without a bridge), because the lamps use the Zigbee protocol and your phone can't handle that.
