Hi I have this alarm clock and have now overslept for the first time as the batteries were flat? Is there a clue I missed or does this just happen every few months?

Hi, unfortunately there is no clear indication of when the batteries are running out. I notice it when the indicator doesn't light up quite as much in the dark as usual when I press the surface. Then I change the batteries. Hope this helps and works. Goodbye,
