A new remote control is paired with the control unit by first briefly pressing the button on the receiver until the LED lights up blue and the receiver is in teach-in mode. Then press and hold the button for the radio channel on the remote control you want to pair for at least 5 seconds. The LED on the receiver goes out if the pairing was successful.
