How long does a packet of three pots last? The prices for seeds are outrageous. You have to digest that first.

Depending on the seeds you choose, you have up to three months of nice green. But the yield of lettuce etc. is not that tremendous. When it comes to finances, you'd better buy a "normal" lettuce. I just like having the garden on the dining table.
