Basically, if you use an electric blanket correctly, you can only reap the benefits. An electric blanket a real blessing in the cold winter months.

The blanket also has overheating protection. I use the electric blanket to preheat the bed during the winter months. When I go to bed, I switch off the electric blanket. I use a power strip with a toggle switch.

Always spread the blanket out flat for use and disconnect it from the mains immediately after use. In addition, the cooled blanket should not be folded too tightly to avoid damage to the cable.
