I don't quite understand it now.... Are the stripes useless without the Sync-Box? Or do I have to buy the Snc box? I only want to install the thing for my gaming TV and connect it to the PS5...

Helpful answer

Without the Sync Box, only with the Hue Bridge you can light them up in all colours, but they do not light up synchronised in the colours of the picture. For that you need the Bridge and the Sync-Box.
