I would like to get this lamp to place it over the dining table but the hole in the ceiling with the cables connection is at the center of the room. Is it possible to add an extension? is that compatible with this lamp? Many thanks!

The lamp is desingend to be placed over the cealing power connector. If you want to place it somewhere else you need to find a solution.
I drilled a hole on one side to get the calble inside the black ceiling box to bring in a cable from the cealing power connector - Working fine for me.

Yes, that should be possible without any problems. I would recommend that you contact an electrician and have him install the extension. He will probably have to make a small cut-out in the housing for the cable. :) Greetings
