A few slightly pink parts, but very discreet - overall it doesn't look girly. We also bought it for our boy.

By the way, the brown looks much darker than in the picture, which is why the pink is not so noticeable.

The large centre parts with the play pieces on them are rather pink, but the brown and white parts keep it very subtle, so I would have used it for a boy too. The castle as a whole is just super beautiful and incredibly practical, I would buy it again and again.
