White matte doesn't quite do it - but white gloss isn't quite right either. I would describe the colour more as offwhite with a slight shimmer.
Sorry for the probably somewhat complicated answer. By the way, I have 2 3s and 1 2s Componibili - all 3 in white and I bought the first one about 6 years ago and I'm still thrilled with it.
