Question 1: Can the "ballast" of the light strip be removed? I would like to install the strip in an LED profile on a piece of furniture. The end of the light strip to where I can place the "ballast" (not the power supply, but the other block) is about 1m. Therefore my question: Can I remove this block from the light strip and put an extension (e.g. to buy at Amzon) in between? Question 2: If the variant from above does not work, could someone send me the dimensions of the ballast (i.e. this block)? Simply length, width, height

So 1 does not work. Unbelievable but true, they forget the connector. I tried to remove the material from one of them, but no chance..... It worked with the old version and of course it works with an extension....
I cut the cable on one of them and then attached a longer one. Works too, but needs a bit of experience and material...
