The lamp has a modest luminosity and is mainly suitable for ambient lighting. If you install several lamps in said hallway, they might be bright enough. But I would combine them with another ceiling lamp or floor lamp instead.
It is also important to note that the lamps are designed for wall connections. Any cable must be bought separately and installed by yourself.
