Product details
Two important factors affect the water temperature in the aquarium. One is the room temperature and the other is the amount of sunlight. If the room temperature rises significantly in summer, it is important to check the temperature in the aquarium regularly. Aim for 24-26°C. Temperatures above 30°C are very problematic and can cause considerable damage to the fish and plants. Aquariums should also never be exposed to direct sunlight. The higher the temperature, the worse the oxygen dissolves, which is vital for the animals.
Simple installation, the cooling fan bracket is placed on the edge of the aquarium (up to max. 2 cm thick) and fixed with clamping screws. The direction of the air flow can be freely selected and the housing on the holder can be rotated 360°.
The xCooler for freshwater and marine aquariums cools the water temperature by 2-4 °C with the help of cross-flow fans. The air current causes the warm water to evaporate at the water surface, thus generating evaporation cooling. Comparable to the evaporative cooling of a wet body part exposed to the wind. Safety The water cooler has a safety cover grille and is operated with a low voltage of 12 volts.
