After many attempts, I contacted the manufacturer and was able to solve the installation problems on my Android. Solution : 1) Set the router to 2.4 GHz, deactivate 5 GHz if necessary. 2) Tap "Add device" on the app. 3) Tap on "Fresh Element Mini". NOT "Fresh Element". 4) Allow location, this is necessary for it to receive any WIFI. 5) Go back to "Add Device" and continue on "Fresh Element". Follow the instructions on the screen.

Hello, Are you sure you are using a 2.4GHz wifi? It does work with 5GHz
Yes, it works without any problems. I use it with 2 smartphones and a tablet.
I have never tested it with batteries, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. Feeding is possible in the event of a power failure, hence the batteries. What I rather think is that the battery wear will be very high with battery-only operation. After all, the feed flap is opened and the feed dosage is then controlled via the batteries. Otherwise, a really good device!
