I was expecting a laser pointer... but it's nothing of the sort! What's more, the light isn't very bright (so it's particularly useful in the dark), so it's less fun for the cat than a laser. You can only play around you, which doesn't add any value compared to a fishing rod-type game.
I gave the pointer away, my cats weren't interested in it
