Product details

Test results in seconds: Check water quality in your aquarium. With the Tetra Test 6in1, you can quickly determine if your aquarium water is in optimal condition. The test strips check 6 water quality indicators and provide results in just 60 seconds. One strip measures pH, carbonate and general hardness (KH+GH), nitrite (NO2), nitrate (NO3), and chlorine (Cl2) levels. The pH value indicates the acidity or alkalinity of the water, which is crucial for fish health. An ideal pH range is between 6.5 and 8.5. Carbonate hardness helps maintain a stable pH level, with a recommended hardness level typically between 3° and 10° dH. Good water quality is vital for fish and plants, but it cannot be assessed with the naked eye. Therefore, for the well-being of the fish, it is advisable to check the water quality every 2-3 days for new aquariums and once a week for established ones. Dip the test strip into the water a few times. Shake off any excess water. Immediately compare the chlorine test section with the reference scale. Wait about 60 seconds and then compare the remaining test sections with the reference scale. Packaging units: 25 test strips.
