Question about SureFlap Connect Hub

Hello, I have installed a cat flap with its hub on a sequential metal garage door (steel). My cat can get out without any problem, but it is impossible for him to get in. The manual lock is correctly positioned inside/outside. Interior only" mode deactivated on the application. It seems that the external sensor does not pick up my cat's chip. Have you had the same type of problem? What is the solution? Thank you in advance for your feedback.

For us, the flap works in both directions as expected. The flap is installed in a wooden door. The connection to the hub should have no influence on reading the chip, as the flap also works without the hub. The steel of the garage door could theoretically influence the communication to the chip, although that would surprise me. The flap could be removed for testing.
