Question about Cat Mate Elite
I bought this flap a long time ago...now we have a new cat. But this one is not allowed outside yet. Did I understand correctly that the flap to the outside always remains open (i.e. it can also be opened manually). This means that I cannot make a setting so that only the chip cat is allowed out???? Help how to solve the problem!
We had the same problem. We built the gate upside down during the second cat's acclimatisation period, so that the display was outside. Theoretically, any cat can get in and only the chipped one can get out, but in our case it was no problem.
Yes, the chip reader is only on the outside.
