Question about Cat Mate Elite
I have installed the cat flap and programmed both cats before installation. Unfortunately, the flap does not open when one of the two cats wants to enter. what should I do?
Please proceed as follows:
1. check batteries, insert fresh batteries.
2. perform a reset (according to the instructions, usually with the button pressed when changing the batteries).
3. reprogramme the cats, hold the chip correctly against the reader until the signal sounds.
4. test without door frame, sometimes metal or the installation environment interferes with the signal.
If it then opens, the problem is with the installation (shielding).
