Self-cleaning litter tray

Question about Petkit Pura Max

My cat urinates on the edge of the bedding because it doesn't go all the way in before urinating. He does it very well to do the big business. As a result, the urine isn't retained by the litter tray and accumulates underneath. Has this happened to any of you? And do you know a way to avoid this problem?

I'd put a few drops of bleach at the bottom of the litter box to encourage the cat to cover up the smell.

It could be because the cylinder mat (also available as a spare part in the range at Galaxus) has not been inserted correctly and that is why it is leaking out the sides. But if you put it in properly and it is not broken, the cat cannot "urinate next to it" anywhere inside the toilet.

If it has nothing to do with this, but the cat simply hangs out of the toilet with its rear end, you can simply attach an elevation (e.g. a flexible plastic plate) to the entrance hole so that the urine bounces off it as if against a wall, instead of spurting out.

Take a look at videos on YouTube to see if you did everything right when "assembling" or how others solve this with a plastic plate.

Well, mine always go all the way in and turn to the side, I've never had that before, fortunately, that it collects under the toilet. Unfortunately, I can't help you there.
