NOTICE: After previous identical cat flaps worked perfectly, we recently purchased three Petporte smart flap - microchip cat flaps. With the first and third, the cats could not be read in. With the second one, the electronics did not work at all. Today 28.06.2021 I phoned the customer service of Petsafe.net (00 800 1818 2020 / Attention area code with two zeros) and received the following information: The adapter had to be changed in the EU for conformity reasons (now small adapter). This causes the malfunction. The unit should work in battery mode. I reactivated the old, large adapter and was able to read in the cats without any problems. The company solved the problem one and a half weeks ago. I will now receive a replacement cat flap with a compliant adapter and adapted circuit board. Hope this information is helpful to you.
