What kind of subscription is needed and what are the costs? Also possible abroad?

They start around 5 CHF per month if you commit to a longer period and can be Swiss only or more or less global.
I am not overly excited about the ability of the tracker to connect to a network. Quite often the tracker cant connect, even though my phone has a perfect connection.
