Question about Cat Mate Elite
With this cat flap, is it now possible to "determine" which of the two is allowed out and which is not? 😅 Sometimes I read that it has a selective entry and exit function and on the other hand it says that all cats read in can go out... Yes, the competition has such a flap with a dual function, but our cats can hardly fit through it. Please help

No, you cannot individually determine which cat is allowed in or out. Either open for all cats, according to the timer, or closed for all cats.
The chip is only read in one direction. Normally the flap is fitted so that only cats with a chip can enter. But all cats can always get out unless you have limited the time. If you want it in both directions, buy two flaps. One for the exit and one for the entrance or you can build a sluice with two flaps in the opposite direction one behind the other ;-)
The door is open to the outside for all cats, according to
timer. The chip is only read on entry.
