Question about SureFlap Microchip
Good morning I have one question 😄 The cat flap is great in terms of quality and workmanship, but the cat flap gets stuck at the top from time to time. As soon as the cat is out and the flap is open, it no longer closes. The cat flap is not too small, our cat is rather small. Has anyone also had this problem and a possible solution, we have tried to fit rubber stoppers so that the flap no longer gets stuck when it is open, but without success. Many thanks

This was also the case for me until I realised that I had screwed the flap on with a slight delay. Solution: Align the two parts properly and don't screw them on too tightly.
I don't have this problem, only the dirt sometimes causes problems. Was the installation a good fit?
We have been using the flap for some time now and it has never got stuck. It has slight play at the sides and the additional metal part at the bottom of the flap adds extra weight. With our model, I can't imagine that the flap could get stuck at the top. There is probably a fault with your model.
