This flow monitor has been specifically designed to monitor the flow of liquid media. Typical applications for the monitor include machine and apparatus construction, monitoring oil, cooling, and lubrication circuits, or as a water shortage protection in irrigation systems, heating systems, cold water units, and heat pumps. Installation is vertical in a horizontal pipeline. A calming section of at least five times the pipe diameter is required before and after the paddle. The maximum flow can be significantly higher than the maximum setting value of the monitor. Not tested for drinking water. This device features reduced switching values, making it suitable for lower flow volumes.
