The grinding mechanism operates in two stages, carefully and thoroughly breaking down pepper, salt, dried herbs, and spices. The six grinding levels, from fine powder (1) to coarse (6), can be adjusted at the bottom of the mill. They are always readable on a scale and do not shift when filling the mills. Care tip: Occasionally grind some rice to keep the grinding mechanism from sticking.
