A high-quality knife should only be used on a proper knife-friendly cutting board. The advantage of a wood fiber board lies not only in the retention of the knife's edge but also in its maintenance-free nature and moisture resistance. The cutting board made from bio wood fibers can be safely washed in the dishwasher and does not require sanding or oiling like traditional solid wood boards.

The board is significantly thinner than traditional wooden boards and may initially feel hard under the knife, but it quickly softens with use, making it friendlier to the knife's edge than plastic cutting boards. The heat resistance of compressed wood fiber is also considerably higher than that of traditional wooden boards, so it can be confidently used as a trivet as well. Bio wood fiber boards are NSF approved and thus meet strict hygiene regulations. The board's dimensions are 33 x 23 cm and its thickness is 6.5 mm.

Scratches that occur on the surface of the board can be removed with fine sandpaper, but this is often unnecessary as the scratches are merely cosmetic.
