Horsehair refers to the shorter and stiffer body hair as well as the tail and mane hair of the horse. Depending on the needs, it is left in its natural color, dyed black, or bleached. The usable horsehair is smooth and shiny and has high durability. Furthermore, it absorbs very little heat and is known for its long lifespan.
