Product details

Single-strand macramé cord made from 80% recycled cotton and 20% polyester. Ideal for knotting smaller objects such as dream catchers, hoops, keychains, and more. Single-strand macramé cord is perfect for macramé projects that require a brushed look.

Macramé is a very ancient technique. It involves tying sturdy yarn or cord into various types of knots to create different patterns and designs. Our technique videos demonstrate how some of these knots are made. Macramé requires almost no tools other than thread or cord. However, we recommend using a clipboard with a clamp to secure the yarn or cord strands while working.

Finally, the loose thread ends can be frayed, combed with a coarse comb, and possibly trimmed to create pretty fringes.
