The robot vacuum cleaner reliably cleans short-haired carpets and hard floors with a high degree of smoothness and is very easy to programme. The cleaning result is also impressive and commissioning is just as convenient.

The Deebot D 76 does a clean job in all programmes and has no problems even with slightly uneven or short-haired floors (up to max. 2 cm). The automatic suction function saves the work of frequently emptying the small dirt container on the robot itself. Particularly convenient is the combination with the mobile hand hoover, which sucks powerfully and can be carried comfortably due to its light weight.

The cleaning performance is good and the workmanship leaves no room for criticism, but the voice function is an accessory that not everyone necessarily needs.

If the accessories, the self-cleaning base station and the suction power of the Deebot D76 are still convincing, the model from Vort Robotics unfortunately disappoints with its chaotic auto mode, which cannot be made up for by the device's voice function and the well-intentioned - but superfluous - demo mode...

...On laminate, this earned the Ecovacs Deebot D73 and its big brother, the Ecovacs Deebot D76, the grade "very good", and on carpet at least a "good". It's a pity that the D76 went too far over the edge of the stairs three times during the test and couldn't get any further without help...
