Perfect for small households: The Melitta Single 5 offers coffee enjoyment from the very first cup. The aroma valve ensures full flavor and optimal coffee temperature (brewing temperature: 95 °C), even with small amounts. The valve only allows water into the filter when it is hot enough, otherwise, it flows back into the water tank. This guarantees that even when preparing small cup sizes, the coffee grounds are only in contact with optimally heated water from the start. All valuable aromatic substances of the coffee are fully released – for complete coffee enjoyment and optimal drinking temperature from the first to the last cup.

The Melitta Single 5 is practical and user-friendly: The swivel filter allows for easy filling of ground coffee. The water level can be easily read thanks to the external water level indicator, and the illuminated on/off switch adds extra convenience. No drops are spilled when interrupting the brewing process, thanks to the practical integrated drip stop function in the filter insert. Long cables can be neatly stored in a discreet cable compartment. Cleaning the removable filter insert, glass carafe, and glass carafe lid is simple and can be done in the dishwasher. The exterior of the housing can be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth.
