The filter holder of the KBG, KBGT, CD, and CDGT models is equipped with an automatic drip stop system. The filter holder automatically closes when the coffee carafe is removed. For this reason, it is essential to ensure that the carafe and filter holder are in the correct position. In all models, the main heating element is turned off after the brewing process is completed. In models equipped with an auto-off switch, the hot plate is automatically turned off after 2 hours.
