All Nesmuk wooden boards are crafted with the utmost care from the heartwood of German oak. The heartwood is the oldest and most valuable part of a trunk. The individual strips are hand-selected and assembled into a characteristic pattern. Thanks to its high content of natural tannins, oak wood is naturally antibacterial and meets high hygiene standards. Nesmuk uses screwed rubber feet in the manufacturing of the holder for slip resistance and a secure grip on all work surfaces. The cutting board features a generously sized juice groove that is very easy to maintain. Additionally, the groove is intentionally designed to be two-sided, allowing cut ingredients to be easily brushed off onto a plate that fits perfectly into the extra-wide handle recesses.
