The OXO swivel peeler features a sharp stainless steel blade that allows for easy and efficient peeling of firm fruits and vegetables like apples and potatoes. At the tip, there is an additional tool for removing potato eyes. The handles are made from Santoprene, ensuring maximum comfort. They are dishwasher safe and latex-free. Santoprene is a thermoplastic rubber that feels velvety soft and does not become brittle when in contact with cooking oil. The material is particularly well-suited for the flexible "ridges" on the "Good Grips" handles. Thanks to the flexibility of the Santoprene material, the ridges can bend under pressure, adapting to the grip of the fingers for enhanced comfort and control. Additionally, the non-slip property of Santoprene ensures that fingers maintain control even when wet.
