Hygrostats control control cabinet heaters or filter fans regarding the exceeding of a set relative humidity. This keeps the relative humidity above the dew point and prevents water from condensing on electrical components as well as corrosion on unprotected metal sheets. An electronic combination device combines a thermostat and a hygrostat in one housing.
