Product details
Thermostats are used as temperature controllers to manage filter fans or cabinet heaters. They are available as normally open/normally closed and changeover types. In combination with cabinet heaters, they can ensure, especially in outdoor applications, that the cabinet is 'artificially' dehumidified in addition to temperature control. This means that the temperature is maintained above the dew point to prevent water from condensing out of the air, which could lead to short circuits due to condensation. The combination with filter fans offers additional savings in energy, materials, and time, resulting in a better environmental balance and increased safety in the production process through reduced energy consumption and improved efficiency of the filter fans.
The series of twin thermostats combines two thermostats in all combinations for complex switching tasks. The FLZ520, as a normally open contact with a snap action, is suitable for controlling heaters. The switching temperature difference is less than 7 K, the switching point tolerance is +/- 4 K, and the adjustable range is from 0 °C to 60 °C.
Thermostats for every application:
- FLZ510: Changeover switch with snap action contact
- FLZ520: Normally open contact with snap action (suitable for controlling heaters)
- FLZ530: Normally closed contact with snap action (suitable for controlling fans)
- FLZ541: Normally open and normally closed contacts in one housing
- FLZ542: Two normally open contacts in one housing
- FLZ543: Two normally closed contacts in one housing
The advantages of the series at a glance:
- Suitable for all applications in the industry
- No influence from electromagnetic radiation, as a mechanically switching contact is installed
- Extends the service life of heaters and fans
- Optimized energy consumption for heaters and filter fans
- Easy mounting on DIN rails
- Electrical connection via screw terminals
- IP 20 protection for installation inside the cabinet
- Certifications: cURus, EAC, CSA.
