Apparently so. "The Aquasafe+ system protects against flooding caused by a leak in the water supply pipe. Make sure that the valve box of the system is not in contact with water. Otherwise the electrical system could be damaged. If the Aquasafe+ system is damaged, disconnect the power cord and contact authorised customer service. (Information taken from the data sheet)
