The machine is rinsing when turned on, and when internal timer turn the machine off. When there is not enough water, machine will just turned off without rinsing. No idea if you set cycle without rinsing. Maybe it's possible to set different time to switch off.

The tank is in the back. The machine is not particularly quiet but has been working daily and without problems for 3 years.
