I haven't tried out everything the thing can do yet, but the moisture of the mops and how often they should be cleaned during the cleaning process itself are also important.
You cannot set up and connect the vacuum cleaner directly via your mobile's hotspot. To connect, the robot must be connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, which is usually provided by a router. The setup is done via the Dreame Home app, which connects your mobile to the Wi-Fi router and the robot. Direct hotspot access from the mobile to the robot is not supported.
Look in the operating instructions, everything is listed there. It contains everything you need and even 2 spare pads.

Max.1.5cm. The threshold height can be bridged with a wedge-shaped wooden strip (ramp).
Alternatively, approach the room individually and clean it.
Then carry over the threshold and clean the next room, etc.
The robot hoover is not explicitly described as stair-safe. However, it does have a map function and object recognition, which enable it to avoid obstacles. To avoid stairs, you can set up virtual walls in the app to keep the robot away from certain areas.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 uses a combination of cross-laser and camera for navigation and obstacle detection, but it cannot use the camera as a mobile surveillance camera.
As far as I know, it is not recommended to use other cleaning solutions. However, I have been using a cleaning agent specifically for parquet for a few months now and have had no problems with it. It is possible to set up "no-go zones". The station can be set up anywhere where there is a power connection.
Yes, the suction power of the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 robot hoover can be adjusted. The device offers different cleaning modes, including an intensive carpet cleaning mode with suction power boost, which makes it possible to adjust the suction power to the specific needs of the surface to be cleaned.
The Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 can be used on multiple floors thanks to its ability to recognise and avoid obstacles. However, the robot must be moved manually to each floor and connected to the base station as it does not have an automatic floor change function.
The main differences between the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 and the Dreame L10s Pro Ultra concern several key aspects:
- Suction power: The L10s Ultra Gen 2 offers a suction power of 10,000 Pa, while the L10s Pro Ultra has a power of 7,000 Pa.
- Uptime: The L10s Ultra Gen 2 has a longer battery life, with around 260 minutes, compared with 150 minutes for the L10s Pro Ultra.
- Cleaning features: The L10s Pro Ultra has a water heating function for cleaning, which is not the case with the L10s Ultra Gen 2.
- Dirt detection sensor: The L10s Pro Ultra is equipped with a dirt detection sensor that automatically repeats cleaning in dirty areas, a feature not found on the L10s Ultra Gen 2.
You can configure the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 in the app with schedules and various settings. however, the robot requires an active WiFi connection to control and transfer these settings via the app.
Once the robot has been configured and connected to the WiFi network, it can continue its cleaning tasks even without a constant internet connection. However, you will not be able to control or monitor the robot via the app during this time until it returns to the WiFi range and re-establishes the connection.
There is no direct wireless connection between the smartphone and the robot without WiFi, so controlling and monitoring the robot via the app is only possible with an active internet connection.
Hello Mathieu
I have been using the hoover for 2 or 3 weeks now.
I am totally satisfied with it and can only recommend it.
The robot reports every problem via the app (when something needs to be refilled, when something needs to be cleaned, when it gets stuck, etc.).
The robot automatically creates a map of the home, on which everything can be set via the app and individual rooms can be targeted.
The camera function with remote control has been removed here, which the previous model still had.
I hope I have been able to help you with this.
